Hmmmm. This is a pretty vague challenge. So why not…
I happen to think that the diagram has its merits.
What is intuitive varies quite a bit depending on each individual. What is conventional is determined by society (read businesses) and applies to many individuals. So I agree that the intuitive expanse is larger than the conventional expanse.
As for their intersection, those of us who create live to exist in that intersection. We like to think that what we create is both intuitive and can become a convention. I don’t think that we do a very good job at this, so I’m skeptical that amount of intersection between intuitive and conventional is as high as the diagram might imply.
Trying again–my last one had some goofy mistakes.. need to self edit before posting..
I’d think of it more like convention as a waterfall that falls into a pool of intuition.
As I watch my babies and toddlers grow up and learn to interact with the world, I am reminded how so little of what we’d think of as intuitive is really intuitive in the strict sense (as I understand it).
The funny thing is that children seem to find learning to be exciting; while adults seem to be impatient about it. Something seems broken about that.

How’s that for abstract?
